We have undertaken many forms of spoken word recording, from
voice-overs for advertisements to hypnotherapy and pain management self-help
CD's to in-game narration and voices for computer games and
have several corporate clients including Colchester General Hospital (Pain
Management CD's), Codemasters (in-game voices for computer games) and Countrywide Residential
Lettings (music on-hold). We can also add suitable royalty-free background music if
required and bring in voice actors.
The main vocal booth
is a dry recording environment, ideal for spoken word and consists
of large diaphragm microphones with valve front-end for warmth and
our rates start at £40 per hour weekdays (10am-4pm) and £45 per hour
on Saturdays.
Increasingly, we are are doing more "audio diary"
work for people wanting to record their thoughts, memories and
feelings to be left to children or grandchildren. This can be
scripted or un-scripted but some notes can certainly help the flow.
