Abbi Saunders was a
14 year old singer/songwriter from Danbury who recorded her 5 track demo
CD with us back in April 2006. We were so impressed by this tune,
even as a rough demo, that we offered to work on the song and transform
it into a more commercial Avril Lavigne-type pop/rock tune. Click

very well-known
local 5 piece band who regularly make use of our rehearsal facilities.
In mid-December the band said they would like to make a new CD but all
live with few or no overdubs. The result was an excellent set of
19 songs recorded and mixed over 3 days.

a forty-something singer/songwriter born in Glasgow and now based in
Harlow, Essex. Formerly of The Crocs, Gerry decided to record and
release some of his self-penned songs on an 11-song album which we
recorded and mixed over a 3 month period.
Gerry's main
influences are
Del Amitri, REM, Gordon Lightfoot and Tom Petty.

The Chorus are a five piece from
South Woodham Ferrers made up of Benjamin Hobden (guitars), Sam
Milverton (Piano), Jim Van-Win (Bass), Phil Smith (Drums) and Barton
Young (vocals). The band have been writing as The Chorus since January
2004 but have been together as a band, under different names, since
1997.
'The Drunks on the Pier' was the last track on a 5 track ep that was
awarded single of the week by the Student Broadcast Network in July

Black Ash are
a seven piece rock group, based in Essex. The core of the group have been
together for the last three years, although there have been a couple of line
up changes over the last few months. The band are : Kriz Kibblewhite
(19) bass guitar and Lead Vocals, Ben Lovejoy (17) Lead Guitar, Dave
McCarthy (14) Drums (new), Cathy Hart (20) Rhythm Guitar and Keyboards, Lisa
Hart (14) Keyboards, Sam Smallbone (17) Lead/Backing Vocals and Danielle
Fairchild (18) Lead/Backing Vocals (new).
Black Ash
have made a conscious effort to avoid being pigeon holed to one particular
genre, preferring to continue to write and perform music in the styles that
they enjoy and that influence them at the time. They have a fairly
extensive and varied repertoire and have played live at a number of venues
throughout Essex. These include, The Hermit Brentwood, The Venue Braintree,
The Circus Tavern Purfleet, The Towngate Theatre, Basildon, as well as a
number of all day music festivals, and private functions. They have been
featured on BBC Essex, Dream FM and Pheonix FM and have appeared or have
been booked to appear on Roadshows presented by these radio stations. Essex

Live Wire are a 4-piece rock covers band from Essex with
Scott Cooper (bass and vocals), Martin Render (drums), Adie Cummins
(guitar) and James Shippen (guitar and vocals). Their 6 track CD, which was
recorded and mixed in 4 days, contains material by AC/DC, George
Thoroughgood, Motorhead, Metallica and Lynard Skynard. Gear
Jammer was chosen for inclusion on the site as it features James on Dobro
steel guitar. Our brief for High Voltage was to make the track sound
"live" i.e. recorded in an arena together with crowd
